A new update of Photogene was released today. We added some really nice features:
- New filters: blur, posterize and b & w, and a whole new user interface for filters selection and manipulation.
- Direct upload to Facebook and Twitter.
- Our very own Hall-Of-Fame where users can upload their masterpieces and rate others’.
iLounge magazine publishes yearly a list of the top 100 iPhone apps. Photogene is proud to be on that list for the 2nd year in a row.

Our Photogene app is paired up against the new Photoshop.com iPhone app by Adobe in O’Reilly’s Best iPhone Apps site in an “app smackdown” for best photo editing app. Voting runs till Monday 19/Oct.

Ziv Kitaro published this week the first iPhone guide in the hebrew language (Opus publishing). It’s called iPhone 101, and it recommends our app Photogene for in-phone photo editing.
Today we attended the launch event of iLoop, a newly founded nonprofit organization with an ambition to become the official meeting place for Apple developers in Israel.
The idea is to create a cummunity where professional apple developers can meet and share their knowledge and also to create buisiness oppertunities and serve the market place demand for OSX and iPhone applications.
